Part of a poker dynasty Howard Lederer is brother to the poker professional Annie Duke. Far from standing in the shadow of Annie, Howard has won 2 World Series of Poker bracelets and 2 World Poker Tour titles since turning professional back in 1994. Lederer is known as ‘the Poker Professor’ because of his controlled mathematical and analytical approach to playing the game, a proven method that has delivered success and substantial career earnings
Howard Lederer is also one of the founding members of Tiltware Inc the company responsible for the creation of the card room Full Tilt Poker one of the fastest growing poker sites on the web today. Lederer has taken to broadcasting and co-hosts Poker Superstars and Learn from the Pros for Fox Broadcasting as well as making instructional videos for those wishing to take up the game. To add to the dynasty Howards younger sister Katy wrote a book about the family entitled ‘Poker Face: A Girlhood among Gamblers.’
